When opening, or restoring a backup of a QuickBooks Desktop 2006, 2007, 2008 or 2009 (Enterprise 7,8 or 9) file in QuickBooks Desktop 2014, 2015, 2016 or 2017 (Enterprise 14, 15, 16 or 17), you see the following error:

Yes, if the bonus check is separate from their regular wage. Per the IRS Supplemental Wages guidelines, payroll needs to withhold a flat 25% (no other percentage allowed). They are also subject to social security, Medicare, and FUTA taxes.

With QuickBooks Pro and Premier desktop versions, you can have open one company file at a time. You will need to close out and reopen each company file. With QuickBooks Accountant version, you can have up to two companies open at once. So you can “toggle” back and forth between them.

When I try to add a new inventory it says I can’t because I’m at the 14,500 capacity?
QuickBooks Pro and Premier can not have more than the 14,500 inventory items. If you actually stock more than 14,500 active inventory items, then upgrade to the Enterprise Solutions is your only option.
